Sofidel Intertissue. HNLA Fire Engineering has recently concluded its third project for Intertissue. One of these was to carry out an analysis using computational fluid dynamics to evaluate the means of escape at the £70m Intertissue plant in South Wales. The factory is Europe’s most modern fully integrated paper mill and produces 600 million rolls of household tissue a year. The analysis enabled HNL to recommend changes to the fire strategy which resulted in savings in excess of £200,000. |
